Our Program is based on a solid foundation of current educational research.
Parents and classroom teachers know how frustrating and demoralising learning to read and spell can be for young children. Working as specialists in the fields of special education and psychology, the founders of Ants in the Apple experienced first hand the difficulties of teaching spelling and reading.
Nearly twenty years ago they decided to use their expertise to develop a system that would help other teaching professionals to make a real difference to students’ learning.
In developing the program they utilised their own practical experience, read all the available international research and consulted paediatric specialists, including speech pathologists and occupational therapists.
