Our Program is based on a solid foundation of current educational research

Parents and classroom teachers know how frustrating and demoralising learning to read and spell can be for young children. Working as specialists in the fields of special education and psychology, the founders of Ants in the Apple experienced first hand the difficulties of teaching spelling and reading.

Ten years ago we decided to use our expertise to develop a system that would help other teaching professionals to make a real difference to students’ learning.

In developing the program we utilised our own practical experience, read all the available international research and consulted paediatric specialists ranging from speech pathologists to occupational therapists.
